Aww, I love Avicularia species babies, they are the sweetest with their little 'boots'! I think I'm an Avic fancier all the way... :D

Please keep us posted on how fast the little tyke grows - do you plan on holding him? Someone else said they were less laid back than most Avicularia.

re holding

I don't plan on holding any of my T's cept for the occasional move to a new tank. I'm more of a hands off person, Let them do their own thing, to act as natural as possible.
The A.braun is hella fast even more so than my Avic.
I'll keep pics posted of the molting process, this is my 4th s'ling(all diff) so there will be lost of posting as they get bigger.

well right now I am a bit timid(well more cautious) of the OBT, but the others I'm ok with. I did hold my Avic when I first got her, but she's too fast for me to keep up with:D
It's neat to watch them go about thier daily buisness.

Nice looking T's, was it you that got the A. braun for $2?

They had a decent amount of T's at the Sac. show. Of course you can never have enough $$$ for everything you want. I ended up going with the G. pulchra and that was it for me.

What day did you go, Sat or Sun?

$2 T

I wish, the vendor that had the $2 T, only had p.ornatas, and stipe knees left. I got both the A.braun $8 and the OBT $10, from reptile depot.
Talk about not having enough money. I wanted to get a tiger rump from them but they wanted $69. and LLL reptile had them for $29. They will be @ the San Mateo show(IRBA) in September, so I'll pick one up there. I'll be sure to go on the First day, to get the best pickins.
It was my first show, it was like being at a going out of buisness sale, lots of cramming in to see the animals:( But all and all a good show.

I agree, it was a fun show. It was my first reptile show too, my only complaint is that it was so crowded.

I plan on going to the IRBA show too, hopefully there will be more T dealers there. Have fun with your new T's.

well I'm getting it from a dealer at a show coming up soon.

I belive he has limited amounts of this spider.

I just want another avic. So how rare is it?

It's about 2" that he's selling.

If you want to talk about expensive, let's talk about bicegoi

avics are so cool.

have a nice day

Does any one have pics of these, I did a search but only came back with a site that had the name listed. If not what do they look like?
