Bought my spider as T Sabulosum - it's about 2 inches or so I think, maybe a year old. The adults of the species seem to have a fairly black carapace, with a light ring around it. Just wondering as a first-timer: I know adult colours don't come that quickly for spiders, but whether this disparity between shades in juvenile of this level of development and adulthood is fairly par for the course?

I love the spider and find it beautiful anyhow. And n.b. It's been moved to a more suitable enclosure since the photos.
