Phrynichus ceylonicus sexing

Hello! I wanted to ask if there's a reliable way to sex Phrynichus ceylonicus, I want to attempt breeding them and intrudicing cb animals to the hobby here

I believe most Phrynichidae have pink hairs around the genital operculum on females, Wizentrop or banshee will come correct me if i'm wrong tho.

if not you might have to peek inside the genital structure.

Whoa! You are right...what was I looking at...?

Anyway, if this is only from yesterday I will add that Phrynichus ceylonicus is already established in Europe.

But I agree. P. ceylonichus is well established in the hobby, even in some locations in North America. IMO it's one of the easiest Phrynichus species to keep and breed.

i breed and spread around several hundreds or even thousands of them in the last 12 years or so.
I brought 2 different populations into the hobby, the first one is the original from Peter Weygoldt, I have them still in breeding, can't count the generations.
The same with my Damon medius from Gambia/Sambia, also from him.

are they circulating in Canada, I haven't seen them around in a while. although i remember tarcan having them at some point.
