So that's what those are. I have hordes of them living in the park adjacent to the library here.

I find plenty as well. Mostly in leaf litter filled with Amynthas agrestis castings.

I just caught a few of those yesterday. Along with other woodlice Iam unaware of. lol.

I have 100s of those in my dubia containers, several generations. They are a little aggressive though. They can attack small molting inverts, I guess they could be attracted by the moisture/lube molting inverts produce. Here is a vid of the sps I have in my roach containers. Notice how one kind of pics on another one and chases it off.

Does the one in the video have an almost reflective dull-blue shine to it? If so, it's a species of Porcellio (I would get the exact species off of bugguide but I'm tired right now. lol)

Galapoheros, that's a great video! I was tempted to think they were a different species too, though there does appear to be a masking layer of dust on them. I'm glad to hear they are doing well for you in the invert bin!
