I got my spider two days ago she is around 4 months. when I picked her up she had just finished molting and was active at first I think looking for food. I got her some very small crickets and she eat two but she still looks skinny so I got her mealworms she caught it and had it in her mouth for a long time when I looked after a few hours I noticed she had dropped the worm. She has been staying on her web for a long time should I be worried? I am just worried that she has not had enough to eat. this is a pic of her Untitled.png

None of this behavior sounds abnormal. Her abdomen looks fine. She doesn’t look that hungry.

she sounds like shes molting, which means you need to mist for her humidity needs and she probably wont come out or eat until shes done. you can leave in fruit flies but other prey could be dangerous. just let her be, mist, and if she does anything to worry you, definitely @ me and ill be sure to help in any way i can, but provided the amount of humidity they need, she should be just fine.

regius prefer to molt in 80% humidity, btw.
