Phidippus Genus Differences

I recently caught a little Phidippus auduax (and by recently I mean two months ago), and I've been wondering, what are the differences between the species in the Phidippus genus (specifically audax vs. regius)?

Good question! Their patterning and colouration overlap a lot, but in my experience p. Regius tends to look a bit lighter and fluffier, and p. Audax is a bit slimmer with less white on them. The colouration of the species does overlap a bit, so some spiders could be either. As far as behavior, they seem pretty similar to me, although I haven't had the chance to interact with them a lot.

Thank you! Are there any differences you know of when it comes to say size or lifespan?

I haven't kept these guys so I'm not sure about life span, but Regius tends to be larger than Audax from what I've seen. I believe P. Audax gets to 15mm max, while Regius has a max size of 20mm.
