I looked in my Phidippus ardens (Desert Red Jumping Spider) container today and saw an eggsack! Does anyone know how long it takes for this specie's eggs to hatch? Also any tips on keeping the slings alive when they hatch, its my first spider to lay eggs. How many eggs do they usually have?

The slings are going to be the size of a period... Maybe just a tad bigger. I have had luck feeding babies fruit flies that have been lightly smashed or pinched with fingers. Once they get a little bigger just toss in a few live ones or one if kept as individuals.
