Got a heap of eggs from a native phasmid, just wondering, the eggs are shiny when laid but after a week or so start to go dull, does that sound normal?

I think that is normal, and then when they are closer to maturing they may get a little "ashy" looking before they hatch.

Please post pics of your natives! The few we have here in the US are kinda simple...

Unfortunatly the only live specimens i have at the moment are pretty boring but have goliath stick nsect eggs cooking which are a stunning species.

Hi Lychas,
are you keeping the eggs in this plasticbottle?
look that they don´t dry out.

keep them in a closed deli cup and every 3 weeks take one out and pop it to see if it's dry or rotten or some thing like that
