Can anyone identify this stick insect please? I wasn't told the species when it was given to me, and it's hard to find the proper veg to give it online. Some websites say ivy is ok, some say never give ivy. It's been eating lettuce, is that enough? Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks!!

@Jacob Ma @Tuffz know a lot of species and can probably id it for you :)

Edit: most phasmids eat bramble/blackberry leaves, which is non toxic.

Hmm not sure if the legs really are that green or if the flash makes them like that

Here's another pic of her in natural light, no flash!! I was told she was a Japanese or Asian type, I just want to make sure I get the food right for her species :)

I wasn't told if it was female or male, I just refer to it as female lol, so that's my bad. But maybe you could explain how to differentiate the sex of them?
Would you post a picture from the side of the end of the abdomen

The segments aren't very visible in that picture, but the slender build and club- shaped tail are very indicative that this is a male. Females are typically much less slender and have tapering abdomens.
