I've got some permatex rtv silicone laying around and was curious if anyone knows if it would be safe to use on an scorpion enclosure? I've looked the product up but I'm not sure what I'm looking for in bad chemicals. Any help would be much appreciated!

From what I have read no its not. You need food safe silicone for aquariums. Automotive sealants have chemicals you dont want.
