Pennsylvania Spider ID

[Snailientologist]

I found the following spider in Pennsylvania. It has a black body with some patterning on the abdomen. The abdomen and legs are covered in fuzz, but the cephalothorax is smooth and shiny. My best guess is Amaurobius ferox, but I want to make sure. If it is, has anyone kept these before? They seem fascinating.
