I know that legs and appendages grow back over many molts...right? well does it take less time for pedipalps to do so...because they lack the metatarsus and all?

does it homies?

I've had a few experiences with (young) spiders losing limbs. In my experience the legs were normal after two molts, the first molt after losing a leg/pedipalp they grow back pale and whitish and much smaller, by the next molt they are normal again, maybe somewhat smaller. I didn't see any difference between the regeneration of pedipalps and legs, same procedure.
I've only had these experiences with young spiders, mostly spiderlings, and I don't know if it's the same with larger/adult spiders.
