Mites lay eggs? I thought they split or gave live birth like aphids or something like that.......

I don't know. Possibly. I was just trying to reassure that it would have to be a pretty large bug to lay an egg that could be that size, and that would make it unlikely to be something related to a tank infestation, even if it wasn't poop.Mites lay eggs?
