Hey just got a Lil babe viatoris and wondering what's a the best food for such a small scorpling I tried a small cricket and it wasn't interested seemed like it was more concerned with escaping the enclosure any advice of feeding thanks

How new is the scorpion to the enclosure? It will likely take a little bit to settle in and feel secure.

It will probably only wall-walk for a couple nights, so get all the pictures you can now LOL. Once it settles you will only see it when hungry at night and it will not run around like this. It will probably sit at the entrance to its hide. Use a dim red flash light if you want to check up on it or watch it for any reason at night. It will usually not run away from red wavelength light (it likely can not detect it).
You could try offering pre-killed if it seems reluctant to take down the cricket.
Also remember it will only need food once every 1-2 weeks (if it is fingernail sized, then a meal will be half that size).
Make sure humidity and temp are on point.

I do not have direct experience with P. viatoris but last I heard, they were kept similar to P. imperator so that would be moist substrate all throughout, not swampy wet. that should achieve the humidity level you need.

Give it some time to settle before trying to feed again. Just leave it alone for about a week. Appropriately sized crickets or roaches are good prey items.
Keep the substrate moist throughout. A slightly elevated temperature would be better. Keep between 75-85 during the day, so your at the lowest end of the spectrum now.
