Hello, I picked up this scorpion a few months ago from a reptile shop. It was sold under the name Pandinus Imperator.
I've been told by a couple of people that it is more than likely a species of asain forest scorpion. It has molted twice in my care and I'm hoping its big enough to get a positive ID. It was the first of my collection and when I bought it I was too new to the hobby to even be sceptical. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Starting to see granulation on the chela ...hmmm, I've seen dozens of young imperators, looking at it in general, yip I think that is a young Pandinus imperator, that's my bet anyway.

Probably P. imperator.

It could be a few other species, but at that size it's nearly impossible to tell. It will become more apparent as it gets older.
