I have had someone say that this Scorpion looks more like an Asian forest scorpion, although I've been under the impression I purchased a Pandinus Imperator. So... Can someone ID this species for me just so I know for sure

Also, it is very young, 2i.. maybe 3i. She just molted a few days ago too.

From what I can see...on the (chela) claws which are very elongated and the ridges....I'd venture to say it's a Heterometrus spp....especially if you got it from Backwater...my friend ordered emps and received Heterometrus petersii FYI.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully as it ages it will become easier to identify her species :smug: for now I will assume it is a Heterometrus.
