I got some eggcrate from an eggfarm over hear near San Antonio, but they only had colored eggcrate. They use their broken eggs and the ones they can't sell to make cascarones. The eggcrate was spraypainted here at the eggfarm and shouldn't be lead based or anything Is it safe for cockroaches?

I need to use for breeding colonies of B dubia and hissers.

i would say error on the side of caution and don't use it

the eggshells are probably not going to absorb all that much from the paint (or they wouldn't use that kind of paint, one would think) but there is no guarantee that roaches eating the paint would not be bad.
