I have a P. subfusca highland juvie that I'm getting ready to re-house into what I want to be his or her adult enclosure. I've read mixed things about these guys and their size though. I know generally pokies are pretty lengthy and big for arboreals, but I've also read that the subfusca highland are one of the smallest of the genus and that they top out around 6 inches. So with all that said in your experience or opinion, should I go with the exo-terra nano tall 8x8x12 or the mini which is 12x12x18. Thanks in advance :D

You could probably get away with a nano but I’d throw it in the mini.

My P. subfusca LL though is currently in a tupperware with more length than height (it’s probably around 8” tall) and I have a few cork bark lean-tos in addition to it’s cork tube. It seems to come out a lot more with this set up.

IMO, I'd go with the Mini. The extra space isn't just for the tarantula, it's for you too. It gives you more working room in the enclosure and you'll appreciate it with a pokie.

Thanks,
