I have seen pics of other T's and there is supposed to be a band of color on P. regalis on the abdomen that helps detirmine the sex of the T.
Any one have pics of sub adult/juvie P. Regalis.
I thought they would have the same bump w/hairs like most male T's have, or the lack there of for females.
Help. I would like to sex my P. regalis. I thought it was male, but now am not sure.

Males a much darker in color. Females have the light abdomen band.

male regalis

My male just molted out, and they are definitely thinner body, and darker color.

Approximately at what size can you start seeing the color difference between M/F?

They look close to the same in color till the male matures. Immature males can be a bit duller in color but not that much.
