I discovered my first bad molt this morning. One of my P. regalis managed to loose both its pedipalps. Its fangs are intact, and seem to be hardening, so I think it will be okay. Any idea what could have happened? I know that it has happened with MM molting post maturity, but this was no MM. Poor little bugger. Hopefully it will be alright until its next molt so it can reclaim its missing pieces.

Poor baby, but I think he'll be fine.

I had a sling that also lost one pedipalp and he would eat fine as long as I prekilled the cricket for him.

yeah, I'd think it would be alright as long as you pre-kill prey for it. Otherwise, it obviously may have trouble catching it's own at this point.

My emilia just molted and I realized he was missing a leg. Do they get them back after another molt? How could he have lost his leg?
