P. ornata question

Does ornata have the possibility to....spit?
Because today I got my new P.ornata and when I was unwrapping the package, she was a little streesed and suddenly I felt like she was spiting me...
A liquid on my hand.....
I don't think It was an ilussion, I did have something wet on my hand...It seems like it was coming from her but
Was it real??
