As @Vanisher alluded to, P. metallica grow a lot slower than most other Pokies. Keeping them at higher temps will increase the growth speed though.

And, as you should already know, all Poecilotheria sp. can teleport and they pack a nasty bite. P. metallica are one of the more laid back Poecilotheria sp. however, and most Pokies would much rather hide than bolt or stand their ground anyways. So as long as you take the proper precautions, you should be alright :)

Is it okay to use a heat pad or heat lamp?

Phlippines is a tropical country, right know we have an average of 30°C.... is that enough?
