I havent seen them available on dealer lists for some time now. I recently acquired 2 slings around 2 or 3 months ago from a private party. You may have to wait awhile before you can find them available again. They are certainly worth the wait however I prefer the Xenesthis spp over P met anyday :)

Got a lady in cameroon tryin to sell 3"ers for $110 ea. Kinda shady though and I'm not comfortable with shipping overseas, $110 is one hell of a deal. Too good to be true IMO.

Well

you all obviously have not heard yet. I have a breeding pair of metallicas as a project. The male matured out 2 weeks ago or so and am waiting on a spem web so I can beed them. You literally looking at legit $50 slings being introduced to people. There needs to be more in the hobby soooo there you go.... Nothing is too good to be true.

Last sling I saw for sale was 1/2" and $249. Brachy.P wish you luck with the mating, and hope I can be one of the lucky ones to buy some from you.

Have you bred P. metallica before? You make it sound pretty easy.

If your first attempt fails , will you try again in the future with another male? If you get a good eggsac on your first shot, breeding 1 female,.....well then maybe P.metallica should only be worth $50.

If it takes you a few years of practice , and a few hundred dollars worth of males, will you still sell your babies for 150 bucks cheaper than what most people are selling them for? P. metallica is and always will be a "high indemand" spiecies, well worth 2 bills in my opinion.

Later, Tom

Never bred a pokie but bred others before. I have a gravid H. Mac right now. I am taking things slow to get the highest chance of a fertile sac. There is a possibility of a bad sac but I hope not. Worse comes to worse I can just try again.
