Hello guys!
I have an adult female P. metallica that was mated last July 8, 2018. I went home after work last night and to my surprise, she's currently creating a hammock of what it seems to be made as the egg sac. Her very plump abdomen significantly reduced the size and she's still laying web after approximately 7 hours. I mated her last year and dropped her eggs 5 months after. Then she molted last February 2018.

- Is it possible that her gestation period is just over 1 month?
- Her abdomen reduced size but I don't see any lain eggs over the web, do that plumpy abdomen just consist of lots and lots of web?
- Is this a drop or a molt?
