this guy was sold to me as pterinochilus meridionalis (zimbawe grey baboon)
I searched several sites and couldn't find anything under that name.
some picturs of pterinochilus chordatus sort of look like it
any idea on what it could be?

It could be P.chordatus, but I think you should wait for the Pterinochilus experts to drop by.

That species is now Ceratogyrus meridionalis.

Your spider is likely P. chordatus, but can I see a ventral image?

The correct name is Ceratogyrus meridionalis. I don't know if that is what you have but that is the correct name.

EDIT: Darn, Eric beat me to it.

Yup definately Pterinochilus chordatus because there is no tan/peach band on the ventral side.

thanks for the repiles
i figured it had to be from the Pterinochilus family cause it sure does act alot like an OBT
it's just a little guy (about 2" ) but man is it aggressive
so far he is much worse than both my OBT's, but i still love him

Yes and not only that its underside abdomen is'nt dark.

well if the orange shoe fits.......:)
maybe he saw the OBT cage right next to his and wants to grow up just like her
minus the orange of course
