P. fera deceased in molt

I'm so pissed and dissapointed right now. She got caught in her spinnerettes? 13cm(5" and more) legspann.

So sad, so sad.

Aww. That really sucks. Sorry for your loss, it looks like she almost made it, too. How old was this specimen?

Thanks guys, it's really bugging me. News on the matter, it was the spinnerettes, when I took her down they snapped and she was free of the old exuvia. She was about 1½ year old, started of 2 mm in legspann. I've got one left, also belived female, but smaller and not as grand as this lady was. The other one doesn't molt from the cealing either, I don't know if that's good or bad. Moisture is not the issue, it's litteraly a swamp under them both.
