I have had my p cambridgei for over a year now and it was purchased as a tiny sling maybe 3/4in. now its about 5 inches and i still cant tell if it's male or female its so hard to get a pic of the underside. now one site says the only get a max size of 5.5 inches and another says 7. so if mine is already 5in should i assume its female. i also had a p irmina that was about the same size when purchased that already matured out to a male in sept. any help would be appreciated will try and post pics soon. also whats the best way to get the underbody shot. i have a decent camera

usually males have a narrow space between anterior book lungs, slight circular 'shape' over the 'split'
some species have clear mark of fusillae some just have this round spot around it.
Females have broad wide rectangular space between anterior book lungs nothing special to find around that area.
and you know this already I am sure no offense

maybe remove her into a clear plastic container or glass container and try taking a picture that way ?

It can still mature out male. I have a 5" immature male that I suspect is now penultimate. They are large and can reach up to 7".

Well if it's male you can always send it out on a breeding loan? Or trade it or sell it? And you can always get new ones. But if you're aiming to have a female you should either buy a confirmed female or buy at least 3 slings at a time.

If you still have those, soak them in water and sex the T :) - Spermathecae in Psalmopoeus skins is easy to spot - especially at that size.

The angle is a bit off from above...
Still seeing female. Looks way different than both my confirmed males, of which one is the same size as the specimen in OPs post. Though OP should confirm via exuvium to be 100% sure :)

Too much dirt on the glass. Could you get a pic closer to the abdomen? With no dirt or watermarks obstructing the few? I'm still on my original guess though.
