Over eating ?

My baby afs has a habit of eat so much that it's tergits and are saperated and it's grey skin is bolging. Is this normal ? The only problem is I can only get live food (crickets and locasts ) the same size as my afs .will this harm him if so what to do ? I'm new to Scorpion so any advice welcome

if you're worried about overfeeding the scorpling, you could try reducing its meals to once a week. They don't need to eat every day. Its quite normal for its plates to spread out when it eats.

Ok I feed him every 2 a week at the moment so il give it a try thanks

If it is becoming obese then the feeding needs to be cut back.

I've never had that issue of overfeeding. I dont believe you can overfeed a scorpion. When theyre not hungry they wont eat and vice versa. Plate separation is normal especially in a growing scorpionling. It will eventually go into premolt go off feed and then molt... repeat cycle.
