Orthochirus w. 1st instars

Yesterday I discovered these young:D It is an unknown Orthochirus sp. from Pakistan. I had her almost a year and was not mated while she was in my possession.

gestation of over a year, interesting for such a small scorp.

I can honestly say these are the first images I have seen with orthochirus with young, Congratulations!

Thanks all!:) The young have all molted into 2nd instars yesterday...

I read somewhere that they take more than a year to mature.

well, I think it can take more than 2 years before they mature!...;) , but this is based on my experience with the young of O. scrobiculosis negebensis.. This is a different species of course..
