Have any Orthochirus sp stings been recorded? How bad is the venom? Also what was it like?

How well do they thrive communally and how are they're eating habits generally? Thanks.

I think they're on the low end for Buthidae, but even then it's still not something to take lightly. They're very laid back though, so it would probably take some extra work to get one to sting you.

When I kept them they were pretty good eaters. I had a male and female together and they seemed to get along just fine. I believe @ArachnoDrew has more experience with these.

They're a pretty communal I had decent sized groups if several different species. And never any issues as adults. They're very calm and would take some real irritation to get it to want to sting u but they're very aggressive with feeding responses. When they do sense prey they're very game

for such tiny scorpions they do have huge stings and very fat tails... but it's unknown just how venomous they are. I found this report on their toxicity.

I also found this on orthochirus. Lots of colour photos in this report!
