I just ordered my CB '08 Female King Rat Snake Poss. het albino (Elaphe Carinata). She was 112.50$. I can't wait to get her! They are such pretty snakes!

So how closely or how are far away are the general king snake and the rat king snake related if at all?...whats the difference between these two besides their obvious origin being one in china and the other in the states?

Size difference is not a taxonomic issue. And just stating the genera doesn't really answer the question, which was one of relatedness.

years ago i had one. it grew to about 7 feet. took dead rats no problem. wish i had kept it. they do best at cooler temps like 65-70
