Orconectes spp crayfish

I believe this to be Orconectes palmeri. It was found in Bryan county, Oklahoma. They're 1.5-2", but have all shed and grown a bit since I put them up (about 5 of them) in a 10 gallon.

Hey Jason are those the babies? I guess you don't have the mother anymore(?) Looks like they are growing fast. Sooner or later I'm going to look for O. virilis, only in a few counties according to a book I have and I'm in one of the counties, something to do and always other stuff to find, thanks for posting pics!

They're a dwarf species, if I ID 'em right. We found them in a pool of a dried up silty creek bed around some leaf litter a couple weeks ago, same area we found our new water snake in.
Yeah haven't posted in a while... no time.
[edit] those O. virilis look pretty cool!

They were perfectly camouflaged until I saw a water bug collide into one. {D After that, we were seeing them all over the place.
