HI there, can any one help me? i recently bought argiope lobata ,oroginitaly male and female,but they are both nearly the same size,they are light brown in colour, and the female has just laid an egg,which is a dirty white colour and flat on one side.

My ? is the male should be a lot smaller and the egg sack should be pair shaped,i think i have been sold angulatus? would my asumption be right, sorry i dont have a pic.

spec Araneus?

Argiope

Argiope lobata commonly has a 1" and nearly all white body with 3 larger lobes on each side of the abdomen. The legs are tan-brown with darker banding. The males are always much smaller than the females when it comes to orb-web spiders.
