Here are a few photos from late last year. Argiope argentata, the Silver Argiope, is fast becoming my favorite spider. The one pictured below is more brown than the ones I typically find in the area. It is eating a bee. The orange colored orb weaver is probably a Neoscona species. There are Araneus around here as well, but I'm leaning towards Neoscona on this one. The last photo is a nice little black widow that I turned up outside the house. Enjoy!
