Orange head roach care help?

I am wondering if i should remove the substrate or just allow them to burrow I can’t seee hardly any of them so no clue how many I have . They are 3/4-1” size .. maybe just merge this with my other thread using this title .

Any help I got around 30-50 of them it seems . They are a bit faster than Dubai , but I’m mostly housing them like Dubai roaches .
