I have never had a mygalomorphae spider, and I am considering a Rurrebabaque Golden Wafer-lid Trapdoor Spider. Any advice?

If you've kept any tarantulas, then you have kept a mygalomorph, as Theraphosidae comes under the mygalomorphae infraorder.

Im unable to acquire Fufius sp. in Australia so I can't say much about their care from first hand experience, but given their morphology I would say they are probably best suited to loose soils, such as a mixture of peat moss and sand. Generally the more chunky and heavy a trapdoor is, the tougher the soils are that they prefer, and Fufius are quite a slender and spindly genus.

@Arachnid Addicted has some Fufius sp. and may be able to provide some accurate information on their husbandry

Maybe Mesothelae? The last representatives of this era are Liphistiidae. Liphistius species also build very interesting trapdoors and are easy to keep.
