Ok to feed a Regalis a Hisser?

I've got a female who's around 7" or so. I've also got some Dubias on the way, but can't get them til around 2 weeks from now. In the mean time, is it ok to feed a hissing cockroach? There are a few in a petshop close by.

Yeah, why not.
Personally none of my pokies seem to like eating hissers though, but a hisser will be no problem if your regalis is willing.

ive heard there shells are hard and could chip fangs but im no expert. i would see what a few more say before trying this.

We regularly feed from our hisser colony, and over 7+ years have had no problems. We only give the really large mature roaches to our L. parahybana, but the middle size ones are great for poecis.

Never had a problem, either, but I feed only large/adults to adult spiders & newborns to small/young arboreals. The ability of a hisser to climb is a bonus when feeding arboreals.

just fed my big ornata girl an adult male hisser. It was a struggle but she won out.
