So a friend of mine acquired a 4 ft rainbow boa from a PetCo where it was relinquished supposedly for having mouth rot. Honestly I see no signs of rot but there are bite wounds on the nose that are healing very nicely. Well, my friend doesn't have room for a snake but both of us having worked at that PetCo know how...difficult it is to get vet care for a herp. She offered him to me. (I assume him because of the presence of spurs and a very long tail) I met him tonight and he's a doll. He seemed quite content to perch on the top of my head for half an hour.
Definitely a very active snake.
