I bought 2 1.5" G. pulchra in April 2009. At the time they were quite fat and looked like they were ready for a molt. The sibling molted in May 2009. This one finally molted in July 2010. These pictures are about 2.5 weeks post molt.
Has anyone seen this before? The sibling is solid black (actually browning out now but unicolored).

Sorry about the double posting of pics. They didn't seem to be uploading so I did it through a different route and now... (embarrassed smiley).

Dom, Wow!......interesting. My first 2 G pulchra did not have this pattern as sling but at least 3 of 5 latest slings had it up until .75" at which point it was lost. None have ever held it into later molts or once they's become black. Might it be typical or possibly variation already well known in certain populations/ranges?

I've raised 9 from 1/2" slings and these 2 from 1.5" and not seen anything like this. Guess I'll see what happens next molt which should be sometime next year, or the one after that:eek:
