odd behavior?????

hello all, i have an male emp who when i bought him was really lively, and always came out to explore when the lighting was good for him. i recently changed his enclosure abit and he seemed fine with everything and enjoyed his new hide. well one day i noticed he didnt come out of his hide at all. and this happened day after day and has been going on for about a week or so now. i figured he may be close to molting but i went to feed him today just too see if hed eat and he did. so im pretty confused as to whats going on. his housing temp. is normal and humidity is good as well. he just has not come out of his hide at all so im just wondering what could possible be happening. hes not a really old guy either im sure he at at least one or two more molts till hes a full grown adult. so if theres anyone who can help please do!!!!!!

also i noticed before he started this he drank a decent amount of water if that helps at all.

Your emp is perfectly fine. What you're witnessing is normal behavior and it's not very exciting either lol

emperors rarely ever come out if you provide them with a hide or high enough substrate to burrow in. a hiding scorpion is a happy scorpion

So it is always a treat when you do see them come out to do whatever even if its just climbing the wall lol

I havent seen my 3i for about a week now and when I did all Is aw were the claws sticking out, I am sure he is molting cause last time I saw him he was super fat.
