I don't know that there are books specific to just the one species. You might want to seek out papers by Richard Gallon. Alternatively you might wish to search this book out:
Baboon spiders of Southern Africa, A Pictorial Guide - Patrick Gildenhuys
Not the cheapest of books but an invaluable picture resource of the variety of baboon spiders within S. Africa.

What is it you wish to know?

They're found in over 13 African countries, often around acacia tree roots, most living fossorially with a semi arboreal approach but some are only found in trees in mountain ranges. There are various colour forms, 4 of which can be found in the hobby (within Europe) but the most common are Red Colour Form, Normal Colour Form and Dark Colour Form.

A google search or a search here regarding their care will tell you everything you need to know.Nothing much to really know about them, except keep them on dry substrate, allow them enough room to burrow/climb/whatever,since they will make a home wherever they can. Some are semi arboreal, some prefer to burrow. That is one of the most interesting things about OBT's IMHO...
