So I recently got my first Old World species, an OBT. Great, I love the adult colors (from photos I've seen). I have an Orange Morph. I'm now looking at buying a Red Morph sling.

So I have a few questions now. What does the Red look like?? AKA, what is the difference? Can you link pix?

I have a 3/4"sling, what is max adult size for females? I read that males get to about 4" in leg span, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Males 4 1/2, and females 5 1/2. I believe that the color differance is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm fairly sure I've seen the red morph in a local store. This is of course assuming that they had the correct species, and with P. murinus it could well have been something else. The spider I saw was distinctly different from my orange morph. It was a fairly dark red with a hint of orange or rust, but the markings were pretty typical of P. murinus.
