So is a 4" OBT ready to breed? I have an MM thats ready to go, some sites say their max growth is 5" others say 6", the MM is about 4" too.

Yes.%60 of mature size is ready to breed for the most part.

Mine laid a very good eggsack at just 3.5 inches.

just take into consideration how much shorter the moult cycle will be for her at that size. 4 and a half to 5 months a terror-nochilus that size i reckon. If she moulted any more than 12 weeks ago she may not be able to develop the eggs in time before the next one. 2-3 months is the average insert to sac time for them depending on temps and feeding. She is ready at that size tho. Gud luck!
