A few years ago my buddy Kevin from NERD gave me my first ball morph, a spider ball python and it's all been a blast since then. I have been lucky enough to produce some great animals and here is a trio I produced from the same clutch this season. I actually like my ball pythons with some color but I'm not complaining about these three {D

Thanks guys. They are the result from breeding two lesser platinums together and they are considered 'blue eyed leucistics'.

Here are the parents breeding...

I love them with pattern and color too but I am going to have to keep the male of the trio of leucistics. I gotta have just one white snake in my collection :3:

It is amazing how many different morphs (is that what you call it?) can be produced with BPS!

Is there a website that illustrates them/displays what you get when you breed this and that. Like I saw that if you breed 2 certain adults you get 2 this way, 2 that way, and one uber cool one.

Here's a start: http://www.newenglandreptile.com/nerd/index.php/ball-pythons/nerd-s-ball-python-collection.html

I believe that there are thousands of morphs that can be made but some of the ones my buddy Kevin has posted on his page are incredible. There are animals that have 4 and 5 morphs mixed together!
That is an excellent website. Has anyone put out a book listing the many morphs & explaining some of the subtle differences between them? I think that would be a great idea. There's a good book on corn snake morphs that is very helpful for people who are into the genetics.

There are books that do this but there are so many different and new morphs being created every season that nobody seems able to keep up with them lol!

I think the couple that has been writing the corn snake morph books has come up with the same problem. Keeps the hobby kind of interesting I think.

Some of the money they want for some designers is outrageous and most are ugly. Those lesser platniums are sweet looking though and so are the blue eyed leucistic.

Oh it's unbelievable! Just think of what was around only 5 years ago morph-wise...there wasn't much that's for sure.
