Be very careful with this list some like the Japanese Pagoda Tree get very large for a 5-10 gallon tank. Some are toxic, ie if someone gets the wrong marigold, Tagetes species. Some like the lavender are both toxic to insects and require large amount of light. Jasimine and geranium are really toxic to insects and should be avoided. The worst thing is that some may not be ok for reptiles but only ok for humans.

Also note that any of these safe plants may still be lethal to your tarantula if it has been bought from a garden center or similar, where they cover everything in pesticides.

Handy list though. Thanks.

the list i took from a reptile magazine so all the plants should be safe for a animal but there is a disclaimer saying that some animals may have some affect from certain species of plant and if worried to check with a vet but i have listed all the scientific names as to avoid people choseing the wrong plant though i did not know about Jasimine and geranium being toxic to insects so thanks for that info
