non-deadly trapdoors?

Are there any species of trapdoor spiders that are NOT medicaly significant?
I'm interested in getting one but I don't want one that will send me or my kids to the hospital.

Yeah they are neat critters aren't they? The venom factor is the only thing holding me back aswell. Sorry I myself don't know of any that don't have dangerous venom.

Its no fun if they don't reach a decent size. What is the biggest size in the US?

well, i dont' know for sure about the US but i know in CA i don't recall reading about anyting bigger than ~3"LS or so. i'd love to be wrong about that though
