My little 1" B.albopilosum had a tasty cricket last night, chewed it straight away no problem.
He's just flipped on his back and is moulting now, less than 24hrs after munching?

Most of my other T's fast for a while before a moult, is this unusual or common?

ta :)

Some slings will go right up to a molt accepting food and then flip. Not that uncommon IMO

This has happened to me several times. It depends, some of the heavily fed ones will refuse but some will eat all the way up to the molt. They molt when they are ready.

Very few of my T's have entered into a pre-molt fast. Usually, I'm taken by surprise when I see the molt suddenly appear in their enclosures. (My one exception right now is a wild-caught SoCal Aphonopelma of some sort who barricaded herself in her hide four months ago or so and hasn't come out since.)
