So I love simply observing my Ts - my D.diamantinensis comes out quite often and is a heavy webber which I love (and never hurts they’re a great eater). Can anyone think of/does anyone have experience with any other NW Ts you see often out going about their thing?

I have about 65/70 sp of nw and it would be easier to say the ones I don't see as most of mine are out most days.

Cyriocosmus elegans af Marilyn, got as a tiny 2mm sling does shifts 10 months hidden 2 months out, she's hiding atm.
Citharacanthus cyaneus Eve, 2 inch female had since a quarter inch sling took 2 years to get to 2 inches and I only see her when I rehouse.

The rest nw and ow sit out alot hiding maybe in premoult but even my fossorial t's sit in the mouth of their burrow 90% of the time 😊 I also enjoy watching my t's and take the opportunity to do so when ever I get 5 mins spare 🙂

Cyriocosmus elegans has been on my wish list for little bit but it’s a little tricky finding ones to pick that aren’t insanely tiny starting out.

Citharacanthus cyaneus has also been on my list but when researching I haven’t seen much info out about them. I did see a couple lists for sale of these recently but it was a decent sum, even more than I just paid for my dream T sling E.campestratus! Still shocked I managed to get my hands on one of those - We haven’t seen them about in the UK for years so I thought I never would and they sold out in just a few days. So glad I signed up for the new additions newsletter - Luck was on my side!

b boehmei,b hamorii, t albo, g pulchra are ones i have currently. my past ones a genic, l p and t vagans some stayed underground as slings but all hung out in the open once they got about 3 inches.:rolleyes:for some reason or other most of them would rather perch ontop of their hides rather than burrow under the hide. except the vagans he liked to dig

If you enjoy D. diamentinensis you would probably enjoy N. incei. They are another heavy webbing, fast growing new world with an excellent prey drive, and visible quite a lot, although they do spook easily and dart back in the den for a few minutes. My pumpkin patch is a little less crazy just in general, but has a strong prey drive and webs a bunch.
In the "not dwarf" category, my psalmopoeus cambridgei has a cool web tube she hangs out in, but is out and visible quite frequently when she's not in premolt. Also most of my arboreals are visible much of the time- C. versicolor, and avicularia species.
The terristrials all seem to be out and visible a lot but are less active and do a lot less webbing in general.
One of my favorite spiders is my G. iheringi- she is out a lot, has webbed up the substrate quite a bit (don't know if that's typical though) and she is a beautiful, huge, delightful murder machine. She's grown pretty quickly, too.

I only have NWs and most are always out, even my A. seemanni.
For heavy webbers I'd say GBB or N. incei.
Others I'd recommend are;

L. parahybana - fast growing, large as adults, always out, and gorgeous lol

T. epicureanus - a slower growing sp. (My 2 have reached about 3.25" - 3.5" dls in under 2 years), Beautiful as they grow as well as when they're adults, great feeding response, and the 2 I have are always out. One will stay in the burrow come molting time, but the other molts out in open which is nice lol

G. Pulchra. I have her in a Tupperware container and whenever I peel back the lid I see her walk out of her burrow. It's awesome, not afraid at all and tame as a puppy. Still wouldn't hold her because it would kill me if she took a fall.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Acanthoscurria geniculata yet? But to be honest, most of my new worlds (except some Cyriocosmus/Psalmopoeus sp. as well as Nhandu in premolt) are almost always visible.
I pulled the trigger on one several months back and it made a burrow and chills down there 98% of the time. To be fair, she's young and right around 3" I'm looking forward to the fearless phase lol

I have a decent collection of Avics, & they're all pretty showy, in my opinion. With plenty of places to hide, they remain frequently visible, spending a fair percentage of their time out on the glass.

I love N.incei’s behaviours I’m just not sure I’m ready for their level of speed when spooked yet. Ironically they had Pumpkin Patch Large slings available at TSS but by the time I was like “ah what the hell I’ll add one to my order” they sold out😂

Other than during rehouses the speed isn't much of a problem. Along as their enclosure is set up right, they'll bolt into their burrow/hide not so much out of their enclosure.... but there's always that chance lol

I would rather have a crazy one than the one I currently have. They will test your patience for sure 😆 Poki's 4 life
