Hey yall. I just placed an order for some new tarantulas. I'm getting a pterinochilus murinus, grammostola rosea, brachypelma albopilosum, lasiodora parahybana, and an aphonopelma hentzi. All spiderlings. Can someone tell me what size vials I should keep them in?

Not sure what size you ordered exactly, but when we get slings and if they're small enough, we keep them in the tiny pill container they came in for a molt or two.

Lol sorry I probably should've mentioned the size. We have 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch

CONGRATS ONT HE NEW Ts. I got two .5" G. pulchripes slings almost 2 weeks ago and i keep them in the vials they were sent in, but first a rehoused them and one escaped so i decided to put them back in the vials for a couple molts until they cant escape the other enclosure.

Here is a picture of what they are in. Freshly Molted (bad camera)

I think i'll just keep em in the vials. They haven't arrived yet and I ended up changin my mind about what I was ordering, haha.

Rule of thumb is substrate surface area = 3x the leg span of the sling
