hello everyone.

i have so far been a reptile man myself but have found myself wanting an emperor scorpion so after allot of research and decision making i made a setup for one and have contacted a seller and all that, but any help towards enhancing the setup would be nice. i have a 10 gallon tank with 6 inches of clean soil at one end and 2 inches at the other, there is allot of sphagnum moss in various places and one of those bark semi circle things for a hide, there is a water bowl near the hide which should be too shallow for it to drown but i will put something in just in case. there is a heat mat on the side of the tank which is set to 80.F which will be switched off at night. i will try and get pictures up asap. also if anyone wants to be friends i would be grateful as im new  thanks

congrats on your first scorp...
your set up sounds great but I wold suggest levleling out the substrate a little more, if you want a hill that is fine but put at least 3" through out the tank to allow for tunnels, I would also suggest to move the water dish away from the cave, if not your scorp may constantly fill it with dirt, I know mine did.
